My youngest son is plagued with ear infections. Even after ear tubes were put in, and numerous rounds of antibiotics, we found treating with essential oils were more helpful sometimes. These are some suggestions for Ear Blends. Never drop oils directly in the ear canal. You may apply the oils to a cotton ball and place that in the ear, or rub the oils behind the ear. Also, a warm compress with 2 drops of Basil will help to sooth the ear pain.
Basil
Lavender and Basil
Tea Tree Oil and Lavender
I made this blend and had the most success with it. After adding the oils, fill the rest of the bottle with a carrier oil. I prefer to use Fractionated Coconut Oil. If it is hot, you can also apply it on the feet.
3 drops Bergamot
2 drops Black Pepper
3 drops Cinnamon
3 drops Clove Bud
2 drops Eucalyptus
3 drops Lemon, Lime, and Orange
3 drops Ginger
3 drops Basil
